perfect red lips tutorial

This tutorial will give you gorgeous red lips

First step- Make sure your lips are moisturized. They should be soft and smooth. If they are chapped, your lipstick will not apply smoothly. Any chapstick will work, I use a homeade mixture that I will share in a later post.

Second step- Pick out your favorite red lipstick. My personal favorite is MAC red. Apply it smoothly, accentuating your bow. Do not rub your lips after you apply! This messes up your lipstick, it doesn't help. You can lightly smack if you feel the need.

Third step- Get out a foundation that is just a little lighter than your skin tone. Apply right on the edge of your lipstick. This will make your lipstick look more perfect, and it will stand out more.

Now you have perfect red lips (: ENJOY

how to treat oily skin

Everybody has a different type of skin. For those of you with more oily skin, this will help your skin look beautiful.

step one: Exfoliate your skin. I recommend any facial scrub rather than a cream or foam. A scrub will help you to get rid of dead skin cells. Gel cleansers also work great.

step two: After you wash your face, always moisturize before you put your makeup on. I know it's a little tedious, but this will help your makeup stay on and look more perfected. Stick to OIL FREE moisturizers. You want them to be water based.

Step three: Use an oil free foundation. This will fill in your pores nicely and leave a beautiful finish on your skin. Start by applying the foundation with the palms of your fingertips. This will help to warm it up a bit. Warning: using a brush may not give you the best coverage! If you feel your foundation is not even, mix in some moisturizer.

step four: Set your foundation with either a translucent or setting powder. Use a face powder brush and lightly apply to your face. Pay attention to your forehead and the bridge of your nose. This powder will help to set the oils in our skin. Make sure your powder matches your foundation!

why I am here

❤ My goal is to always make sure you feel beautiful. Makeup is not a mask, it is an accessory. It shouldn't hide your face, it should bring it out. I will share some of my tips and help you to do that ❤
